ATTRACTIONS

The Bocas del Toro Archipelago is the main attraction of the province of Bocas del Toro and the best starting point for visits to the rest of the region: the islands, including the Marine Park, the plains of Changuinola, the communities of the Teribe River and the mountains of the Cordillera Central and its natural reserves: La Amistad and Palo Seco. To this must be added the possibilites of visiting different ecosystems, or slip into the forest canopy, using the services of tour operators. Sports and marine activities, community tourism, hiking, bird watching and immersion in the cultures, are other major attractions of the region.
